On this page u can find more detailed information on the changes in our way of working together with Renson Outdoor, as well as how this will look like in RIO. The RIO online order platform will be available at Go Live in 4 languages: Dutch, English, French and German, just like e-Reps.
Below you can see how all your offers, orders, services, and related documents related to a same project can be found under one folder.
With the transition from e-Reps to RIO, the user interface gets a new design and documents (e.g. quotes) get a new look. In the image below you can see what it will look like when you are requesting a quote or order.
The price indication that you receive after a product configuration is based on the standard configuration that was configured. The adjusted price after remarks or attachments will become visible in the validated quote.
For road deliveries, a latest delivery date will be communicated. For other types of transport (e.g. air or sea transport), you will still get an estimated departure date. There is still a possibility to choose a later moment before you place an order.
You will receive a confirmation e-mail with a direct hyperlink included to RIO the moment a quote is validated, or an order is confirmed.
All communication about quotes and orders can be easily found, structured per project in the RIO Message Box.

The span and pivot will from now on always determine the price* for terrace coverings as well as its accessories.
*Exception: prices for intermediate column(s) or shifted column(s) are still calculated using the measurement input.
For side fills, the price will be determined by 2 heights, i.e. smaller or equal to 2200 mm (7ft 2.61in) or larger than 2200 mm (7ft 2.61in).
All Outdoor accessories (e.g. Algarve Fixscreen or Loggia sliding panels) are integrated in the product configuration tool in RIO and are thus included in one and the same order.
Upselling orders can also be ordered within the same project directly in RIO. For example: ordering a supplementary screen for a Camargue that was already installed at your customer.
At go live, all existing product features available today in e-Reps will also be available in the RIO product configurator. More features will be added later in 2021, based on frequently asked special requests.
The product configurator will check the feasibility of the specified parameters right when entering them. Using the question mark next to a parameter, you will be able to get more information about the restrictions.
If you would prefer to offer your customers multiple product variants, this can easily be done by creating various quotes in RIO. Every valid quote (as a basis for an order) will remain valid for a period of 2 months. From within your project folder, you have a clear view on which quotes are validated, expired, or deleted.
You won’t have the option anymore to change your confirmed order without a cost. Modifications to product(s) should be done in the quote stage. In case you did order something incorrectly, you can contact your Renson contact person to cancel the incorrectly ordered product(s). Next, after updating your product(s) on RIO, you can place a new order. Below you find an overview of what the associated change and cancellation costs will be for changing or cancelling a product.
Why this way of working?
As soon as an order is placed, Renson immediately starts working for you: materials are reserved, planning is started up automatically, etc. This is the only way to guarantee confirmed delivery times.
In RIO you will be able to choose between 2 default delivery addresses for your company. For other addresses, an extra cost will be charged. The costs of additional logistic services are always visible before you confirm an order.

All past orders will continue to be available in e-Reps for review and for re-ordering spare parts for replacement (you will be guided here from RIO to e-Reps when requesting for spare parts).
